Barrère s.a. is a family business, founded 24 years ago by Gérard Barrère. Our headquarters are in the very heart of the Armagnac area, in the town of Valence sur Baise (French Department of Gers). The inception of our company took place simultaneously with the beginning of grape picking mechanisation.

While remaining focused on our agricultural core business, at Barrère we branched into different related fields, including transport and a variety of winemaking activities (Eurotravi).

Today, the business is run by the founder's children, Etienne, Patrice and Laurence. Our family business has laid the foundation for its future, and established a company culture poised to tackle the challenges ahead on the road to an ever increasingly global economy.

Barrère's origins in agriculture and winemaking, and the resulting in-depth understanding of the human and professional milieu we have acquired, have put us in an ideal position to play a major role in the business.

Depending on the seasons, between 15 and 80 people make up our ranks.
